The Experience
This Is Not a Sit-and-Watch Keynote
It is a live, two-way experience from the first minute to the last. The audience is in it the whole way, calling out their real problems while Mitch solves them on stage in real time using AI. They watch friction get eliminated in front of them, the same friction that has been stealing their time and money for years.
It is fast, it is funny, and it moves. Second City trained, 4,000+ stages, and the room stays leaning forward because nobody knows exactly what is coming next, including Mitch. People do not leave inspired and empty. They leave entertained, energized, and holding tools they can use the next morning.

Section A
Fit and Topic
Is Mitch right for our audience and our event?
What is Mitch's core topic?
Mitch works at the intersection of AI and the Human Element. The core message is Amplify, Not Automate. The idea is that the organizations winning the next decade will not be the ones using the most AI. They will be the ones who know what only humans can do and protect it. He runs a real AI company called HIVE and has trained over 120,000 people on practical daily AI use. He brings both the technical credibility and the stage craft.
Is this a technology talk, a motivational talk, or a leadership talk?
All three, and your attendees will not be able to tell where one ends and another begins. Every major audience Mitch has spoken to came expecting technology content and left with something different: a genuine shift in how they see themselves in relation to AI. It lands as educational and energizing at the same time. People leave with a framework they can actually use the next day.
Is this just another "AI is coming, adapt or die" talk?
Not even close. Caleb Paull, President of Better Talent, said it best: "It was the best keynote I have heard on AI because it was easy to digest, fun, engaging, and had an encouraging tone to it. It was not telling us how AI is going to replace us. It empowered us." Rachel Benedick, CRO of MPI, noted that audiences stayed 30 minutes after the session because they were not ready to leave. The fear-based approach is exactly what Mitch takes apart. People walk out feeling more capable, not more worried.
What industries does Mitch speak for?
His client list includes Walt Disney, the Colorado Rockies, Informa Connect at Pharma Forum with over 600 delegates, Meeting Professionals International, Visit Indy, Better Talent, IMA, and Visit Lauderdale. The Human Element question cuts across every industry. It lives in every boardroom right now. Mitch works with all industries and will adjust budgets as necessary, including building the show a custom avatar from HIVE for a full price keynote.
Can Mitch customize the talk for our audience and our theme?
Yes, and that customization is already built into the fee. It is not an extra charge. Every booking includes a pre-event prep call 3 to 4 weeks out where Mitch personally reviews your conference theme, your attendee profile, and what you need the room to feel at the end of the session. He has delivered the same core message to pharma executives, hotel teams, sales teams, and HR professionals. Every room felt like the talk was built for them. That is what the prep call is for.
We have had AI speakers before and they did not land. Why is Mitch different?
Mitch first is all about practicality and usefulness. He wants every participant to leave with real change and real lessons. Because he is not selling the machine and he is not selling the fear of the machine. Most AI speakers go one of two directions: they show off what AI can do in a limited way and not advanced, or they warn about AI risks until the audience feels helpless. Mitch does neither. He gives the room a clear and energizing answer to the one question they are actually asking: what do I protect that AI can never replace? And then he answers the question, "How can I amplify myself with this?" That is a completely different experience. Audiences sometimes want to stay 30 minutes after he is done because they are not ready to leave. They want more.
Is Mitch right for an audience that is not particularly technical?
Yes, and non-technical rooms are honestly where he lands hardest. Mitch does not teach people how AI works under the hood. He does not use jargon, he does not assume any prior knowledge, and he does not make anyone feel behind. What he does instead is pull real questions from the audience live on stage and solve them in real time using AI, right in front of the room. People who have never touched an AI tool watch him do it and immediately understand both what the technology can do and exactly where they still have the advantage. The live demo is not a prepared script. It moves with the room. Add to that the audience interaction and engagement built throughout the session and the energy he brings on stage, and a non-technical group often has a stronger reaction than a tech-forward one. Every audience walks out saying the same thing: that did not feel like a technology talk. That is the point.
Section B
Format and Logistics
How it runs, what it needs, and how to lock the date.
How long is the keynote?
The full engagement runs 45 to 60 minutes but he can extend even to 90 minutes. That is the format where the entire experience lands with the most impact: the live AI demonstrations, the audience interaction, the emotional arc, and the practical framework. Mitch also offers half-day and full-day workshop formats for groups that want to go deeper and build real capability alongside the belief shift. Everything is available for virtual and hybrid delivery. Mitch will add a 1 to 2 hour breakout when a full price keynote is booked. Just ask.
What is the difference between the keynote and the keynote with a workshop?
The keynote shifts how people think. The workshop changes what they do. In the keynote, Mitch moves the room from confusion or worry to clarity and activation. In the workshop, he works with the group to actually apply the Human Element framework to their specific roles and daily work. Attendees who experience both consistently report higher post-event survey scores and real behavior change starting the following Monday. One session if you need a belief shift. Both if you want behavior change.
Can Mitch deliver this virtually or for a hybrid event?
Yes. Virtual and hybrid delivery is available for all formats. The interactive structure travels well because audience participation is built into the session design, not bolted on at the end. Virtual keynote fees are lower than in-person. The prep work, the customization, and the live demonstrations are done just as if Mitch was live. Hybrid events, where Mitch is on stage and streamed to remote attendees at the same time, are priced at the in-person rate.
How far out should we book?
Priority dates fill up fast for up to a year out, but we understand that you have bookings sometimes a few months out. We work to accommodate all schedules if Mitch is available. He loves this work so much that he wants the schedule packed. That includes major annual conferences, Q1 kickoffs, and fall leadership events. We recommend reaching out early so you have the most flexibility on timing and format. We get back to every inquiry within 2 to 8 hours or sooner and can tell you the same day whether it works.
What does Mitch need from the AV team?
He brings his own MacBook Pro and runs a live AI demonstration on stage. That demo requires a reliable dedicated Wi-Fi connection with at least 50 Mbps. Shared conference Wi-Fi is often not reliable enough. He also needs a screen connection via HDMI or USB-C, a way to run laptop audio to the house sound system, a wireless lavalier or headset mic so he can move, and a confidence monitor so he can see his slides without turning his back to the room. He does a full tech check at least 2 hours before the session. A detailed AV sheet goes out to your venue team as part of the pre-event prep.
Does Mitch have a rider?
No formal rider. He is easy to work with and does not bring a long list of requirements. A green room with Wi-Fi and some water is always appreciated but not required. He actually likes arriving early and spending time in the room before he goes on stage, meeting the organizers, walking the space, and when there is an opportunity, having a quick conversation with your CEO or executive sponsor to get a real read on the room. That pre-show time makes the keynote sharper. A quiet corner to review his notes before going on is the only real ask.
What actually happens on the pre-event prep call?
The call happens 2 to 4 weeks before the event, or at whatever window we agree on during the discovery call. Mitch is on it personally. Not someone from his team. He covers your attendee profile, your conference theme, the specific language your organization is using around AI right now, what people are reluctant to say out loud about it, and any examples or references that will resonate with your group. He also makes sure he understands exactly what you need your audience to walk out believing and feeling, so the keynote is aimed at that outcome from the first minute to the last. He confirms the AV setup and tech check timing too. By the end of the call, the keynote is no longer a generic presentation. It is built for your room.
Can we watch a full-length video before we decide?
Yes. There is an 11-minute set of clips from a live event on our home page and we can send you up to a 45-minute full keynote from last year. The information will not be as current as the talks this year, since he adapts the lessons each month. You can share that link directly with your committee.
Section C
Investment and Process
What it costs, and exactly how the booking works.
What does it cost to book Mitch?
Every engagement is a little different depending on format, audience size, and what you are trying to accomplish. The best way to get accurate pricing for your specific event is to reach out to us directly. Mitch's normal rate is $35,000 which can include a breakout. But he alone determines pricing and works deals. So if you buy a selection of books for your attendees, or want a custom AI Avatar for your conference built by HIVE, Mitch is more flexible. He also loves to work with non-profits to help get the word out.
Does Mitch work with speakers bureaus?
Yes. Mitch works with a select group of bureaus. Bureau commission comes out of his fee, so there is no added cost to you as the planner. Booking through a bureau is the same experience as booking direct. Agents who want to add Mitch to their roster need to message diana@ahumanhive.com for more information. We do conduct a vetting process.
What does the booking process look like, step by step?
Six steps from your first message to Mitch walking on stage.
Submit your event details through the booking form and we get back to you within 2 to 8 hours, often sooner.
A 30-minute discovery call at a time that works for you. Not a sales call. A real conversation about your event, your audience, and whether this is the right fit.
A complete proposal within 24 hours of that call, often the same day. Simple language, no surprises, everything your committee needs to say yes.
Rapid contract and full payment up front. We do not accept payments post show. All payments are due at contract signing in full. We do not accept checks. ACH or Credit Card only.
A pre-event prep call with Mitch personally, 2 to 4 weeks before the event. He reviews your audience, your theme, and what you need the room to feel. No canned keynotes, ever.
Show day. Mitch arrives early, comes for the audio check, walks the room, and delivers.
What are the payment terms?
Payment by credit card, PayPal, or wire transfer. Checks are not accepted. We do not accept net 30 or any net arrangements. All payments are due at signing.
The consistent pattern is that people stay 30 or more minutes after the session ends because they are not ready to leave. Leonard Hoops, CEO of Visit Indy, said: "I have attended countless presentations on this topic. This was the best, most engaging and most informative one I have ever been a part of." Rachel Benedick, CRO of MPI, noted that audiences stayed 30 minutes after the session just to keep the conversation going. Lily Nagy, Conference Producer at Informa Connect for a 600-delegate Pharma Forum, called it "the outstanding opening keynote that set the tone for the entire event." Greg Feasel, President of the Colorado Rockies, said: "This is about equipping our organization with meaningful tools that support our commitment to future innovation and long-term growth."
Is there a book attendees can take home?
Yes. F* Your Friction by Mitch Mitchem. Autographed bulk copies are available as an add-on to any keynote or workshop. Minimum order is 50 copies. Pricing is based on quantity and confirmed at booking. A signed book on an attendee's desk is a six-month reinforcement of the session, not a one-day takeaway.
Does Mitch offer anything after the keynote to keep the message alive?
Yes. The HIVE Leadership Pilot gives 15 leadership seats access to the HIVE platform for 90 days at $3,500. It is a structured post-keynote program that keeps the message in motion and creates a path toward full organizational AI implementation. Think of it as one business quarter. It starts within two weeks of the keynote so the energy from the session carries through. This is discussed during the pre-event prep call for organizations that are interested. It is not listed on the website and is offered selectively.
What is HIVE?
HIVE is an AI platform built around the Human Element. It takes the same framework from the keynote and puts it into a tool the leadership team uses every day. Each leader builds something called a Wisdom Avatar: their decision-making patterns, their frameworks, their institutional knowledge, captured in a form that AI can amplify rather than replace. It is not a generic AI assistant. It reflects how that specific person actually thinks. Mitch is the CEO. The My HIVE AI app is available on iOS.
Section E
Additional Questions
The things planners ask right before they say yes.
We are still early in planning. Is it too soon to reach out?
No, and honestly earlier is better. Priority dates for major conferences, Q1 kickoffs, and fall leadership events fill up 6 to 12 months out. Reaching out now gives you the most options on date and format. The discovery call is 30 minutes. Use the booking form to start the conversation and we will confirm availability and talk through timing.
How does Mitch handle a skeptical audience?
Skeptical rooms are often where he lands hardest. He does not dismiss the skepticism. He validates it. The concern that AI will replace human jobs or devalue human expertise is a reasonable concern and he treats it that way. He meets it with honesty, with humor, and with a framework that turns the fear into something useful. From Better Talent: "It was not telling us how AI is going to replace us. It empowered us." A skeptical room that leaves energized is the most powerful outcome available.
What happens if the Wi-Fi fails during the live demo?
Mitch does a full tech check in the morning before every session specifically so this does not happen. If the venue Wi-Fi is not reliable enough, a dedicated hotspot or hardwired connection gets arranged in advance during the pre-event prep call. In the unlikely event that something fails mid-session, he has a transition ready that keeps the room moving without losing the momentum. He has never had a tech failure derail a keynote. The 2-hour tech check is the insurance policy.
Does Mitch stick around for Q and A or a reception after the keynote?
Yes, and he usually does not need to be asked. Audiences staying 30 or more minutes after the session to keep the conversation going is the pattern across his major events. If you want a formal Q and A or a post-keynote reception built into the program, mention it during the discovery call or the pre-event prep call and we will plan for it. Book signing is also available if books are part of the package.
Section F
F* Your Friction, The Book
A signed copy on the desk keeps working long after the lights come up.
Is there a book attendees can take home?
Yes. Mitch is the author of F*ck Your Friction, a book about identifying and eliminating the systems, habits, and obstacles that are quietly stealing your time, your energy, and your results. It is practical, direct, and written in the same voice Mitch brings on stage. Autographed bulk copies are available as an add-on to any keynote or workshop. Minimum order is 50 copies. Pricing is based on quantity and confirmed at booking. A signed copy on an attendee's desk is a six-month reinforcement of the session, not a one-day takeaway. If the title gives your organization pause, the book ships in a plain sleeve and can be introduced by Mitch on stage in whatever way fits your audience and culture.
What is F*ck Your Friction and why does it exist?
Every person in your audience already knows the feeling. The process that makes no sense. The system that wastes an hour of everyone's day. The meeting that should have been an email. The tool nobody asked for that now requires three trainings. F*ck Your Friction is Mitch's book about that feeling and what to do about it. It is a practical, high-energy manifesto against the friction quietly stealing your people's time, focus, and sanity. Not a motivational book. Not a thought leadership collection. A framework. Awareness, Analysis, and Action. Real tools with real names: the Six Friction Identifiers, the Grandfather Test, and Fix-It-Or-F*ck-It that your attendees can use the Monday after the event. It is the same energy Mitch brings on stage, in print. Launched June 2026.
Should we be concerned about the title?
Fair question, and Mitch gets it every time. Here is the honest answer: he uses the word "eff" on stage, not the full word, and he introduces the book in a way that gets a laugh and a nod from the whole room before anyone has time to feel uncomfortable. The asterisk in F*ck is intentional. It is not an accident. It signals exactly what Mitch stands for: I will say what others will not. Your attendees will feel that the moment he holds it up. Walt Disney booked him. The Colorado Rockies booked him. Pharma Forum put him on the main stage in front of 600 delegates. The title has never been the issue. The only thing that has ever made an audience uncomfortable is an AI speaker who made them feel left behind, and that is the one thing Mitch never does. Mitch can frame the title and intro in whatever way fits your culture. But in our experience? The title is half the reason people come to the session and pick up the book.
How do we add the book to our event?
Easy. Add it as a line item when you book. Autographed bulk copies of F*ck Your Friction are available as an add-on to any keynote or workshop. Minimum order is 50 copies. Pricing is based on quantity and confirmed at booking. If you want Mitch to do a book signing after the session, build it into the program during the discovery call or the pre-event prep call and we will plan for it. Audiences who got 90 minutes of Mitch on stage and then got to hand him a book and have a 30-second conversation are the ones who become the loudest advocates for bringing him back. A signed book on an attendee's desk is reinforcement of everything they heard in the room. It is not a takeaway. It is a reminder that keeps working long after the event is over.
Section G
My HIVE AI Avatar
The keynote is the belief shift. The app is the daily practice.
What is My HIVE AI?
My HIVE AI is the consumer app Mitch built to put the Human Element in your pocket. It is available right now on iOS at the App Store. The core idea is simple and unlike anything else out there: you build your own AI avatars with real memory, real voice, and real wisdom. Not a chatbot that resets every conversation and forgets who you are. A companion that remembers you, learns you, and grows with you over time. You can build a mentor. A coach. A guide. A version of someone you lost. A version of yourself at your best. The app has proprietary dynamic memory that knows who you are and what each avatar is built for. You can share avatars privately with the people who matter. And unlike every other AI tool on the market, My HIVE AI is not designed to tell you that you are right. It is designed to help you get it right. This is what AI feels like when it amplifies a human instead of replacing one.
What does Indiana have to do with it?
In August 2026, the state of Indiana will unveil a first-of-its-kind initiative powered by My HIVE AI at a major conference. The details are still being finalized, but what it represents is significant: a real government application of the Human Element framework at scale. Not a pilot program buried in a policy document. A public unveiling, on a stage, in front of an audience. When your CEO is booking Mitch for your event and a state government is simultaneously launching a platform built on his company's technology, that is not a speaker trend. That is a movement. Watch ahumanhive.com for the announcement.
How does My HIVE AI connect to the keynote?
The keynote is the belief shift. My HIVE AI is the daily practice. Mitch does not just talk about the Human Element from the stage and leave. He built a product that lives it. Every avatar in the app is proof of the thesis he delivers in the room: that human wisdom, human memory, human judgment, and human connection are the things worth preserving and amplifying. When attendees leave your event and download My HIVE AI that same night, the keynote does not end when Mitch walks off stage. It follows them home. That is what makes Mitch different from every other AI speaker on the market. He is not a commentator on the technology. He is building it.
