COMEDY YOU CAN DANCE TO
An outrageous, interactive comedy experience featuring the music, memories, and madness of the '70s to the early 2000s.
One improv comedian. One DJ. An entire audience that becomes part of the show.
The original
Opened in Chicago. January 30, 1993.
It started in a nightclub in Chicago, blew up at Universal Studios, then hit the road everywhere. Comedy You Can Dance To ran in Chicago for 20 years. In 1998 Universal Studios Florida brought Mitch Mitchem down to build it for their crowds, and he ran it there through 2003, while the Chicago show kept going another 15 years without him. Along the way Mitch opened for *NSYNC, Jimmy Buffett and Britney Spears.
The phones came up and the hands went down. So we're bringing it back. We're all ready for something real. Real people, real laughs, real life. The kind of night you'll never forget. One improv comedian. One DJ. And you. You're the show.
The night

The finale
A sing-along finale with drinks in the air.
The soundtrack: only the hits, from the '70s to the early 2000s.
House rules

Be Fun.
Play along. Sing, clap, follow Mitch and jump in when he calls your name.

The host, live.

The room becomes the show.

Meet Mitch
Your host, Mitch Mitchem.
Comedy You Can Dance To ran for two decades at Chicago's Excalibur Nightclub before Mitch took it to Universal Studios Florida, where he opened for *NSYNC, Jimmy Buffett and Britney Spears.
Mitch is a Second City-trained improviser, keynote speaker, author of F* YOUR FRICTION, and CEO of Orlando-based HIVE, The Human Capability Company. He studied improv at Second City in Chicago and Meisner technique at Baron Brown Studio in Los Angeles.

Today he's bringing the party back.

Will people really participate?
That's the whole show. The two rules get everyone playing along, and volunteers end up on stage every time.
